Hello, I'm Marisa - Texas born and raised, now making my way in Atlanta, GA. After being in the healthcare industry for more than 20 years, I established Southern Hospitality Treats December 2018 as a way to pay homage to my southern baking roots.
I'm a completely self taught baker, growing up in a southern kitchen I was always surrounded by the warm aromas of home-cooked meals. Those cherished moments ignited my passion for baking. I strive to replicate not just those flavors but the feelings of warmth and comfort they evoke. Through my culinary designs, I aim to share my beloved family recipes with others and encouraging them to make their own "sweet" memories.
